“I talk openly about depression because nearly 1 in 5 adults experience it. We need to normalize needing help. That’s why I do this work.” —Nicole

When Life Feels Overwhelming, I Turn to Data And You Can Too
I’m Nicole mother of three, creative visionary, life coach, and freelance data analyst. I’ve been through enough storms to know that survival isn’t the goal anymore it’s stability, clarity, and building a life that actually works.
Life right now? It’s complicated. My oldest is preparing for a trip and has recently skipped a grade and is graduating, which brings immense pride but also financial and emotional considerations. My car inspection is due, fun fact I’m a licensed PA inspector for motor vehicles. Not that I have a whole lot of time to work on my own car I do as much as I can. I’m in school myself doing online classes,, my boss just quit and I’m not interested in his position I have so much on my plate already, and I’m juggling multiple side hustles while trying to build my business something sustainable and meaningful. Add in a major life shift like the end of a seven-year relationship and the challenge of single parenting again and you can see why I sometimes retreat just to catch my breath.
My therapist told me it’s been two years how long are you gonna hold space for change on the other end and then we began the conversation about me holding space for change on my end. That when the life coaching comes in place, it was time for me to begin planning my process of moving forward, and moving forward, there’s a lot of healing that has to happen as well. That is where I feel like it’s best to have a life coach and a therapist. Some people feel like they need one and not the other. That is not always the case. Both bring a unique setting to the growth path. Well, most therapists want you to decide your path on your own, and most like coaches are looking to help you build that path can help with trauma, while the other one can help you acknowledge the trauma and both can help you move past, with building a new path.
I started building, not just in my professional life, but also in my personal life I found myself investing time into myself and by doing that I have open my eyes to the world around me. Having somebody To help Keep you on your path and hope you understand what you really want.
here’s the truth: even through the stress, depression, and uncertainty, I haven’t given up. I’m learning how to move forward. I’m learning how to build.
And the thing that’s helped me do that more than anything?
Data.
We don’t usually talk about data when we talk about rebuilding a life but we should.
⸻
Why Families Deserve Data-Driven Support
People often think of data analysts as corporate resources helping companies streamline systems or boost profits. But families face just as many complex decisions, if not more. From mortgages to college planning, from emotional burnout to career pivots, a data analyst can bring clarity to the chaos.
That’s why I’m not just a data analyst. I’m a data-driven life coach someone who brings the structure, insight, and strategy of analytics into everyday life.
Here’s what that looks like:
• Mortgage Planning: I can help break down your income, expenses, interest rates, and future goals to create a predictive model for what kind of home you can realistically afford without putting yourself under.
• Education Costs: From tuition inflation to savings plans, I help parents prepare for big milestones like college, private school, or extracurricular investments ensuring long-term stability.
• Household Budgeting: You’d be shocked how much money you “lose” to small habits. I track your real-life spending patterns and help you redirect those funds toward your actual goals.
• Retirement & Investment Strategy: I create projections that fit your risk tolerance and long-term plans—making sure your future doesn’t get pushed to the bottom of the priority list.
⸻
And It’s Not Just for Finances… It’s for Your Whole Life
In my coaching, I use data in ways most people wouldn’t expect because it’s not just about money. It’s about mental space, emotional bandwidth, and the life you’re trying to design.
Here’s how I integrate data into personal growth:
• Career & Salary Strategy: I help people like you analyze industry trends, growth paths, and compensation benchmarks to make empowered career moves or negotiate for more.
• Health & Wellness Goals: Whether you’re tracking food, sleep, or movement, data can show you what’s actually working (or not) so we can adjust with purpose.
• Time Management: Want to know where your energy really goes? I track your patterns and help you build a structure that serves your life instead of draining it.
⸻
An Example: Meet Lily
Let’s say I have a client named Lily. She’s burned out, stuck financially, unsure if she should change jobs. Together, we:
• Review her spending to build a sustainable budget
• Analyze job market trends for new opportunities
• Review her strengths, time usage, and energy drains
• Create salary benchmarks so she can ask for what she’s worth
• Build a custom action plan for the next 6–12 months
That’s the power of a data-driven approach. Lily walks away with clarity, confidence, and a game plan—not just hope.

My Journey Into This Work
I didn’t fall into this accidentally. My life pushed me here.
When you’re a mother navigating depression, parenting an autistic child, juggling bills, grieving a relationship that never healed the way you hoped it would, trying to grow a business without proper childcare you either collapse or you build systems. I chose to build.
It hasn’t been easy. I still struggle with overwhelm. I still have moments where I want to shut everything out. But I’ve started to see my depression differently not as something broken in me, but as something that just needs better support, better structure, better care.
That’s why I believe in therapy. I believe in coaching. And I believe in creating real, tangible support systems especially for people like me who are used to being the strong ones.
⸻
Let’s Be Honest
A data analyst isn’t just for corporations it’s a life-changing toolkit for individuals and families, especially those rebuilding or reimagining what their life can be. Whether you’re trying to manage the chaos, build a business, or just figure out how to breathe again I bring everything I’ve learned, lived, and worked for into helping you thrive.
Your story has patterns. Your life has data. Let’s decode it together.
Let’s build something better.
